Sea buckthorn oil is a true superfood for the skin. Sea buckthorn oil is a viscous orange oil obtained from the berries, seeds, and leaves of the sea buckthorn plant (Hippophae rhamnoides). Rich in vitamin C and nutrients, sea buckthorn oil is excellent for both skin and hair care.

In skincare, sea buckthorn oil:
Moisturizes and nourishes: Sea buckthorn oil is a natural super moisturizer. It contains a high concentration of fatty acids, including omega-3, omega-6, omega-7, and omega-9, which help maintain the skin’s moisture level and prevent moisture loss.
Rich in vitamins: The high content of vitamin C in the oil makes the skin radiant and bright, helping to even out the complexion.
Anti-aging properties: The antioxidants present in the oil, such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, protect the skin from free radical damage and promote a youthful appearance.

Carrot oil (specifically carrot seed oil) contains a lot of carotene, which gives a complexion-enhancing effect. Carrot oil is always in a carrier oil (i.e., diluted) because it is too intense on its own. It contains a lot of vitamin A. The natural SPF of carrot oil is around 40, but since it is diluted, it ends up around SPF 10.
